Films about a balcony plant! I directed two short films about the Flowerpot Monster. The first one, about jealousy, can be streamed on Youtube - have fun! The second one, about fake news, is in the making (2025). Find updates here:

First Film

Tracing the film’s topic to its root, it’s about a deeply human trade: Jealousy. Here, jealousy is depicted in our lovely little breathing plant and its giant eyes that always want to own everything. The Flowerpot Monster just can’t look at something and not want to have it. As the story goes, we discover that the Flowerpot Monster didn’t think of what happens when a pinwheel catches wind. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Second Film

The owner of a plant is mistreating the plant according to internet fake news. Assuming that a computer is the source of all evil, the plant tries to kill the messenger.

For the second instalment, I wanted substantially different style. We're more in cartoon realm than in photoreal animation with this one. Most of the film was 3D animated, while some 2D animation elements are present.
